The Honorable Jim Suttle

Mayor Suttle was sworn in as Omaha's 50th mayor on June 8, 2009. Previously, he served on the Omaha City Council from District 1, was the former Public Works director for the City of Omaha, held transportation planning positions with local governments in Albuquerque and Wichita, was the executive vice president and director of corporate development for HDR, the nation's 17th largest architecture - engineering firm, as well served as vice chairman of their Board of Directors. Suttle is a licensed professional engineer in Nebraska and has taken retirement in Missouri, New Mexico and Massachusetts.
