Peter M. Wegner, Ph.D.
Dr. Wegner is the director of the Operationally Responsive Space Office of the United States Department of Defense (DoD). Prior to this position he served as the technical advisor to Air Force Space Command, Directorate of Requirements. Previously Wegner served as a senior aerospace engineer with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Space Vehicles Directorate; led the DoD TacSat Joint Experiments IPT; and served as the branch chief for AFRL’s Spacecraft Component Technology Branch. Wegner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Arizona; a Master of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Stanford University; and a Doctorate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Wyoming.
