Assistant Director Capabilities of the Joint Air Power Competence Centre at Kalkar in Germany
Air Commodore van Hoof serves as the assistant director capabilities of the Joint Air Power Competence Centre (Kalkar, Germany). Previously, he was the deputy director of Operational Policy in The Hague. Prior to becoming Air Commodore, he was appointed as commander of the Dutch Patriot Missile Battalion at Airbase the Peel; was a controller in the Air Force Tactical HQ; completed staff tours in plans and policy branches at the Royal Netherlands Air Force Tactical HQ and at MOD-level, after successfully finishing War College; and was a staff officer at NATO HQ at Ramstein, Germany, in Defensive Operations Division.
